Emily Shafer

Emily Shafer is pursuing a Master’s degree in International Security, along with a certificate in Strategic Intelligence, at the Josef Korbel School of Global and Public Affairs at the University of Denver. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology from Furman University and previously worked as a Law Enforcement Analyst with the Newport News Police Department in Virginia. She is passionate about creating a safer and more secure world for future generations of girls. Outside of her academic and professional endeavors, Emily enjoys hiking, traveling, reading, and horseback riding.
